Three different kinds of volunteers will be needed daily when the museum opens in 2009:

* Docents | Volunteers will lead student and adult tours through the Museum. A 20-session training program will begin later this year to prepare Docents before the museum opens.

* Visitor Service Volunteers | Volunteers will work in public Museum positions | selling tickets, helping in the gift shop, at coat check, special events, the information and membership desks, etc. An 8 hour training program will be scheduled before the opening of the Museum.

* Administrative Volunteers | Volunteers will work in the various departments of the Museum. An 8 hour training program will be scheduled before the opening of the Museum.
